Millianna

Age: 23 Magic: Incarceration Tube Likes: Cats Dislikes: Shrimp Millianna is one of Erza's childhood friends from their days as slaves working at the Tower of Heaven, and she worked as one of Jellal's minions for a time. She is an avid cat lover, having decorated her entire room with a cat theme; her love of felines is to the point that she refuses to hurt anything that even resembles a cat, even if she knows that it is not a cat. Millianna is noted for her cat-like appearance. She is an average tall woman who also has a curvaceous figure. She has cat-like ears, eyes, nose, and mouth, has brown hair tied into two ponytails and has whisker-like tattoos. She wears a yellow jacket with white stripes and black trimmings. She also wears a pink dress with a white bow tie on it and light-pinkish ruffles on the lower portion, a choker with a bell on it, and white leggings. Prior to times-skip Millianna's appearance seems to have change throughout the years. Her hair is arranged in a messy way. She still retained her cat-like appearance still wearing a choker with a bell attached unto it. Her attire consists of a hooded cape, long striped leggings, evening gloves, tight and small shorts with a belt and boots. She seems to have no upper attire revealing her bikini top uncovered. Millianna is a very cheerful, peppy person. She has a great love for cats and refuses to see them harmed in any way. She also tries to mimic a cat, from dressing up like one, to meowing. Juvia Lockser

Juvia made up 1/4th of the Phantom Lord's elite group, Element 4. She was sent by the guild master Jose, along with Sol, to go and capture Lucy and bring her back to him safely. Her magic seems to deal with water as she is able to control rain and other large bodies of water. In addition, her body is formed of water, leaving her intact and able to reform herself after attacks. Her nickname is also Juvia of the Sea, which correlates with her water controlling magic. When angry she can also control hot water. Juvia also often refers to herself in the 3rd person. Juvia has developed a deep love for Gray, and due to a misunderstanding, views Lucy as her rival in love. After being defeated by Gray, the rain above her finally clears up which she thought was beautiful. After the fight, her deep infatuation with Gray continues,and she secretly followed him when she was unsure of approaching him. In the Tower of Heaven arc, she mentions to Gray that she is now an independent mage once more, but Gray notes that she has probably has her eyes set on Fairy Tail. She is quite willing to do anything for him. When Juvia is upset rain surrounds her. She is the only member of the Element 4 to be shown after the Phantom Guild arc. Natsu Dragneel

Occupation: Mage Affiliation: Fairy Tail Guild Team: Team Natsu Known relatives: Igneel (Foster Father) Magic: Fire Dragon Slayer Magic Natsu Dragneel is the main protagonist of the series and a member of the Fairy Tail Guild. He is frequently partnered with fellow Fairy Tail members Happy, Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fullbuster, and Erza Scarlet. He is commonly known to the public as a powerful mage called "The Salamander." But this title has started to fade as the series progresses. Natsu's most prominent features are his spiky rosy-colored hair and his signature scaly white scarf which was given to him by Igneel. Natsu has a scar on the right side of his neck. He has no separate eye color, his eyes instead being solely the color of his black pupils. Natsu is of regular height, and his body is toned but not noticeably muscular. His member's stamp is located at the top of his right arm, just below his shoulder. Natsu has a carefree and reckless nature and, despite his constant brawls with the other members of the guild, is a fiercely loyal and protective friend. He has a particularly close, and competitive relationship with fellow members; Gray Fullbuster and Erza Scarlet. With the former, he has had a constant rivalry from a young age and although they often denounce each other as not being friends, they regularly watch each others' back even when they are enraged with one another. He has had the same sort of relationship with Erza—the two both being scared of her since a young age—and they seemed to have a fairly good relationship in the past as, according to Erza, they used to shower together. He befriends people rather quickly too, considering Lucy a friend and willing to team up with her only after a few days of knowing her. Natsu's father had left him when he was young. Igneel, a dragon, found him in the forest and ended up taking care of him. He taught Natsu how to speak, and use magic. But one day Igneel disappeared on July 7, X777; Igneel left Natsu to fend for himself without so much as a goodbye or an explanation for his reasons for doing so. This made Natsu look forward to the next time that they would meet.

Capricorn

Caprico is a member of dark guild, Grimoire Heart, and one of the Seven Kin of Purgatory. He used a Lost Magic known as Human Subordination, which allowed him to weaken nearby humans' physical and Magical abilities, as well as to enslave humans to make them fight for him, allowing him to summon them as he wished: in short, a reversed version of Celestial Spirit Magic, which allowed him to keep the upper hand in a battle against four of Fairy Tail's top Mages.

Laxus Dreyar

Name: Laxus Dreyar Age: 23 Affiliation: Fairy Tail Guild Occupation: S-Class Mage Team: Thunder God Tribe, Team Fairy Tail, Team Fairy Tail B Magic type: Lightning dragon slayer magic, lightning magic Laxus Dreyar is the 23-year-old S-Class mage of Fairy Tail guild. He is the grandson of Fairy Tail's master, Makarov Dreyar, and son of Ivan Dreyar. Laxus is a master of Lightning magic. It allows him to produce, control and manipulate lightning and electricity at his will. Through its use, Laxus can not only generate lightning from his body, but also make it appear from almost anywhere to strike his opponents, taking them by surprise. By generating electricity on different parts of his body, he's capable of making his attacks in melee deadlier, and of propelling himself around to gain extra momentum. The bright light from his lightning can be also used to momentarily blind enemies. In addition, much like other Elemental types of Magic, Lightning Magic allows Laxus to turn his own body into lightning, in order to evade enemy attacks, move around at high speed and strike every opponent crossing his path. Lightning dragon's lacrima was implanted into his body when he was young by Ivan Dreyar. Hence, he possesses lightning dragonslayer magic and can also change his skin into dragon scales and use some exclusive dragonslayer attacks like lightning dragon's roar. His eye color is different in the manga and the anime. In the manga, it is orange/dark yellow, while the anime portrays it as greenish blue.

Layla Heartfilia

She and Lucy's father were originally part of a merchants' guild called 'Love & Lucky' where they two met and decided to become independent when Layla became pregnant with Lucy. They chose her name when they noticed that the sign for the guild had the letter K missing so that it read 'Love & Lucy'; it made an impression on them so they decided to name their daughter after it. In her home, Lucy kept a good relation with the staff in the estate and presumably her mother until she passed away when Lucy was around the age of ten on 7-7-X777, the same day that the dragons disappeared. She was 29 when she died.

Ultear Milkovich

Ultear is introduced as a member of the Magic Council who apparently works for Siegrain.

Aquarius

Aquarius, "The Water Bearer" is a long-haired mermaid that can only be summoned into a body of water. She is selfish and dislikes Lucy, often attacking both Lucy and Lucy's enemies with a torrent of water. (Source: Wikipedia)

Charlés

Race: Exceed Gender: Female Age: 6 Affiliation: Fairy Tail Previous affiliation: Cait Shelter Partner: Wendy Marvell Magic: Aera, Precognition Charlés is a talking cat with the same type of magic as Happy. Wendy found her as an egg and they have been together ever since. They are very close and Carla sees it as her duty to protect Wendy from danger. Her personality is strict and straight. She disapproves of fooling around. Towards Happy she is very cold at the beginning but starts to soften over time. Especially during the Edolas arc has their relationship improved.

Makarov Dreyar

Makarov, is the "Master" of the guild. He is eighty-eight years old and is also one of the Ten Great Holy Mages. Makarov shows extreme dislike for the Council and all the rules they try to impose on guilds. He frequently attempts to balance reprimands from the council and the eccentricity of his guild. He encourages Fairy Tail to do what they feel is right, but he has shown some concern that Natsu, Ezra, and Gray will someday level a whole town. His magical abilities include Titan magic, giving him the ability to grow his body parts gigantic and his body into a giant sized version of himself, and can control various other forms of magic including fire, ice and wind, which give him an immense magical power. The members of his guild affectionately refer to him as Ji-san or grandpa. Makarov also sees all of his guild members as his own children and will do anything to protect them. He has a perverted side, shown when he states he wishes to be smashed by Lucy's breasts and subsequently spanks her many times as a punishment. When the Fairy Tail guild building was attacked by Phantom Lord, he didn't seem to care and shrugged off the situation, noting that Guild wars are forbidden. However, after the Shadow Gear team was ambushed in the night by Phantom Lord and crucified to a tree, he leads a full frontal attack against Phantom Lord. However, Makarov, distracted and upset, is ambushed by Aria from Phantom Lord, causing him to lose his magic and forcing the Fairy Tail guild to retreat. Erza noted that they wouldn't be able to defeat Jose without Makarov, and Porlyusica noted that Makarov didn't think over the attack and rushed into things without considering his age, calling him a fool for acting this way. After recovering, Makarov returns and defeated Jose with his "Fairy Law," a powerful spell that only defeats those he considers his enemy. Afterwards, Aria attempts to attack him again, but Makarov easily dispatches him, showing Aria's previous victory was a fluke due to Makarov losing his focus. Given his advanced age, he considers retirement, but considers Laxus as too uncaring, Gildarts impossible for some unknown reason, Mystogan as too reclusive, and Erza as too young and brash to succeed him as guild master. After hearing the damages made by the team Erza-Lucy-Gray-Natsu-Happy from Mirajane, he cried that it's impossible to retire by now. Hiro Mashima stated in a Behind the name segment in Volume 2, that he wanted Makarov to have a name that sounded Russian.

Lucy Heartfilia

Age: 17-18 Birthday: X767 Occupation: Mage Affiliation: Fairy Tail Guild Known relatives: Layla Heartfilia (Mother), Jude Heartfilia (Father) Magic: Celestial Spirit Magic Height: 165 cm BWH: 91-59-88 Lucy is a mage and the main female character of Fairy Tail, joining at the start of the main story line. Lucy's member stamp is located on the back of her right hand. At the beginning of the series, Lucy is an independent novice mage searching for a mage guild to join, particularly interested in Fairy Tail, which she claims as the strongest mage guild. Though she tells Happy she considered joining Fairy Tail's rival guild, Phantom Lord, due to their similar outrageous nature and personality, she is content with her decision of joining Fairy Tail. After being rescued by Natsu from the slave ship, she is invited to join the guild. Once joining Fairy Tail, Lucy becomes a member of Natsu's team. Lucy is one of the saner and more stable members of Fairy Tail, having common sense that other members of the guild seem to lack. She consistently points out Natsu's and others' idiocy. Lucy is also very confident in her appearance and sexiness, exuding a certain amount of vanity. Despite this superficial attitude, Lucy is passionate for literature and is in the process of writing her own novel about her adventures with Fairy Tail. She is a member of the Heartfilia family, one of the richest and most influential conglomerate families in the country of Fiore. However, due to her estranged relationship with her father and the death of her mother, she left home to follow her own path. It should also be noted that she was the only other person who had ever shut Gray and Natsu up without beating them up first. Natsu and Gray seem a little scared of her when she's under the weather, even if Lucy's magic is not as strong as theirs and can't force them into submission like Erza. Lucy practices Stellar Spirit magic, a skill which allows her to summon spirits from another world using Keys of the Gates. Her Stellar Spirits have varying levels of power, with different ones suited for different tasks. For example, Aquarius can control water, while Taurus has enormous strength. Along with her keys, she also carries a whip, which she is proficient with. Lucy explains to Natsu that Stellar Spirit mages have the potential to obtain extremely rare Gold Keys, which open the gates of the "Ecliptic Zodiac", and common, store-bought Silver keys. Each gold key has the Zodiac symbol of the one it is used to summon on it. According to Lucy, while there is a large number of silver keys, there are only 12 gold keys. Thus far in the series, Lucy has obtained 10 Gold Keys and 4 Silver Keys. She also summoned all of her Gold keys (5 of them at the time) and Plue at once, although it only lasted a few seconds, it showed her to be very powerful. Loki's previous owner was a very powerful mage, yet she could not summon more than one at a time.

Wendy Marvell

Age: 12-15 Occupation: Mage Affiliation: Cait Shelter, Fairy Tail Guild Team: Team Natsu Known relatives: Grandeeny (foster mother), Carla (foster sister) Magic: Sky Dragon Slayer Magic Wendy is the Dragon slayer of the Sky, which means that she has the same power as Natsu Dragneel and Gajeel Redfox, but with the ability to manipulate air. Wendy can eat air, but can't heal as well in polluted areas. Her magic allows her to heal people from the most serious of injuries, even those caused by a dragon, allowing her to use even a kiss to heal other people and can even counteract other magic; however, there seems to be a limit to how much she can use.

Erza Scarlet

Age: 19 Hair: Scarlet Eyes: Brown Magic and Abilities: Requip (also known as Ex-quip is a Caster Magic and a type of Spatial Magic related to the summoning of various types of equipment.) Erza Scarlet is a S-class mage of the Fairy Tail Guild, the strongest still active female, and one of the main female protagonists in Team Natsu. Erza, is a tall, beautiful young woman with long red hair, and brown eyes. She is almost always wearing an armored suit, made by Heart Kreuz. However, thanks to her requip magic, she can wear many magic armors, and can even requip swim suits, and clothes for recreational purposes. Her member stamp is on her left shoulder. She wears a standard medieval armor, but has a number of other themed armors such as Flame (or Lightning) Empress, which absorb the respected magic type, Adamantium, Samurai-style and more. Erza is a very strict person, often criticizing the bad behavior and habits of the other guild members, causing most them to apologize for fear that they might invoke her wrath. She is also impatient, liking people who answer her questions quickly as seen when she promptly knocks out anyone who doesn't answer her questions (despite them not knowing anything). Also, Erza has a problem where she apparently sees everyone as guild members (best seen when she asks civilians to take things places during a mission). However, she has a great sense of justice. Despite being a very strict person, she seems to have a clumsy side to her as seen during the Galuna arc when she fell into a pit hole. Like most Fairy Tail members, she shows great loyalty and dedication to Makarov and the guild. She pushed herself past her limit in the war against the Phantom Lord Guild, fighting against its many powerful members. She also became the temporary leader when Makarov had to be treated because of his scattered magic. Although it hasn't been fully explored, it is implied that Natsu Dragneel, Erza and Gray Fullbuster are all very close to each other. While staying over at Lucy's house, Erza revealed that the three of them used to take showers together. Virgo

Maid Spirit Virgo. She initially had a contract with Everlue, but after he was arrested the contract broke. She handed her key to Happy and told him to give it to Lucy. She is then called by Lucy to help them out of a situation. She explains that since she's a spirit, she takes the form that her master desires, so when she was bound to Everlue, she had a big woman form, according to her masters likes. When she is bound to Lucy, she takes a more visually appealing form.

Cancer

Celestial spirit contracted to Lucy. Fights by cutting with a pair of scissors. Also like to cut hair with them and alludes to having cut Lucy's hair. For some reason he always says "ebi", Japanese for shrimp, at the end of his sentences.

Minerva Orland

Race: Human Gender: Female Affiliation: Sabertooth, Succubus Eye Occupation: Mage Team: Team Sabertooth Base of Operations: Sabertooth Guild, Succubus Eye Relatives: Jiemma (Father) Minerva is a Mage of the currently strongest Guild in Fiore, Sabertooth. Gajeel Redfox

Title: Iron Dragon Slayer Hair color: Black Eye color: Red Occupation: Mage Martial Status: Single Known relatives: Metalicana (Foster Father) Magic: Iron Dragon Slaying Magic Gajeel is an intimidating-looking young man around the age of Natsu Dragneel. He has a wing-like sleeve on his right arm (right above his Phantom Lord tattoo) and various body piercings, usually in sets of three or five. His usual outfit consists of a ragged-looking black tunic with studded edges, studded wristbands, and studded boots (somewhat resembling Punk style). His hair style is a heavy metal, long, black hair. He doesn't seem to care at all about Fairy Tail, and seems to think that Phantom Lord is a stronger and more worthwhile guild. Gajeel bears his Phantom Lord symbol marked at the top off his right shoulder (note: the same place where Natsu has his Fairy Tail emblem). Gajeel and Natsu seem to be opposites as Gajeel has more of dark personality and appearance unlike Natsu who has a larger affinity to light. However, he seems to have a short temper, seen when Natsu Dragneel constantly makes him angry. Despite saying that he doesn't want to make friends, he tries in his own way to do so. So far he has sung an off-key solo (after chaining Mirajane to a wall) and not fought back when attacked by Shadow Gear or Laxus. He even protected Levy McGarden after Laxus Dreyar shot a blast of Lightning at her, showing that Jet and Droy were wrong about him, and he does want to make friends with the other members of Fairy Tail. Despite his cold personality, he has shown a humorous side of himself when he was shocked to see Mirajane transform her face to look like him, and when he failed to break Fried's magic enchantment. At the end of the Oracion Seis arc, he is shown to be upset when he realized that he's the only Dragon Slayer that doesn't have a cat as a partner. He then desperately tries to find a cat in the alleys, but ended up starving and becoming heavily exhausted.

Aries

Aries is a timid female, very softspoken and shy. In the past, Karen the Celestial Spirit mage forced her to do many horrible things and generally abused her, such as using her as a shield (Because, apparently, she has no fighting abilities) and using her to lead away all of her boyfriends instead of simply refusing them.

Belno

Belno was a member of the Magic Council. After the misuse of the Etherion, she was forced to leave the Magic Council. Like other council members, she seems largely opposed to the actions of Fairy Tail. She seems to have a more relaxed personality compared to Org.

Sting Eucliffe

Age: 19 Likes: Lector,Natsu-san Dislikes: The past guild Sting Eucliffe is the White Dragon Slayer and a Mage of the currently strongest Guild in Fiore, the Sabertooth. He has an exceed named Lector, just like most of the Dragon Slayers. (Source: Fairy Tail Wikia)

Freed Justine

Freed Justine is a 20-years old mage who is skilled enough to be a S-Class Mage(stated by Erza). Freed is a member of the Fairy Tail Guild who doesn't show his face often. Laxus Dreyar calls him Freed the Dark. He hasn't been to the guild for half a year, and hasn't met any of the newer members like Lucy Heartfilia. During Fairy Tail's battle with Phantom Lord Guild, he was off in another town. He is a member, and also the captain, of the Raijinshuu, a group of mages who act as servants to Laxus, with Freed as the self-proclaimed captain. He is known as one of the "Mystery Men" along with Mystogan and Gildarts. His magic style is Enchantments. Freed seems to be the most quiet of the Raijinshuu. He also seems to care for his former friends as he questioned Laxus when Laxus told him to kill other Fairy Tail members if he must. He seems to respect Laxus as he does whatever Laxus says even killing other guild members if he is ordered. When Mirajane shouts at him saying weren't they friends, Freed closes his eyes and replied "we were once." After Laxus left Fairy Tail, he shaved his head, it grew back to normal as seen in chapter 165. Freed's magic allows him to write runes that, depending on what is written, will actually effect its target, though Freed's magic seems to do more with inflicting pain and suffering on his opponents. It was first used during the Battle of Fairy Tail, where Freed's enchantments were used as traps do have the guild members fight each other to escape. Jellal Fernandes

This character is named differently depending on the translator. Jellal is a literal romanization; Gerard is an alternate romanization, completing the sounds that the Japanese language can't phonetically sound. Jellal is introduced under the alias of Siegrain, a young member of the Magic Council and can be considered the main antagonist of the series. His design is the same as that of Rave Master's Sieg Hart, Hiro Mashima's previous work, as a form of fan service. With his "underling" Ultear he typically disagrees with the rest of the Council, typically by showing leniency to Fairy Tail.

Flare Corona

Race: Human Gender: Female Affiliation: Raven Tail Guild Mark Location: Right Breast Occupation: Mage Team: Team Raven Tail Base of Operations: Raven Tail Guild Magic: Hair Magic Manga Debut: Chapter 263 Flare Corona (フレア・コロナ Furea Korona) is a Mage of the Raven Tail Guild. Flare is always shown with an absent, peculiar expression on her face, making it look like she's not interested in what happens around her, and seems to act in a teasing, disturbing way, referring to Lucy Heartfilia as "Blondie" and teasingly repeating such nickname several times. Her sadistic nature is later displayed in the fight between the two female Mages. Flare is extremely fond of her hair, whose color she praisingly refers to as "sunset red," becoming overly upset if someone damages it while she's employing her Hair Magic, something which prompts her to reveal other traits, her sadism and unfairness. Cana Alberona

Cana Alberona is a member of the Fairy Tail guild. Her member stamp is on the lower left portion of her abdomen. She is an attractive woman with a short temper who seems to use a type of card magic. Not much else is known about her magic, but it has been shown that she can use it to track people and for fortune telling. She is always shown drinking some kind of alcohol, usually a giant barrel of ale. It is mentioned that she has a pure heart. She is one of the original members of Fairy Tail and has been part of it since she was a child. She is one of the leading figures of Fairy Tail, commanding the guild in the fight against Phantom Lord.

Lisanna Strauss

Lisanna is the younger sister of both Elfman and Mirajane, and is also a member of Fairy Tail, like her siblings her magic is Take Over. Her member stamp was on her upper left shoulder and now is on her left thigh.

Alzack Connell

Alzack Connell is originally from the West, he came to Fairy Tail as an immigrant and joined the guild. He was first introduced in chapter 2 and episode 9. Alzack has a crush on another member of the guild named Bisca Mulan, but he is too shy to confess to her. Loke jokingly implied that if Alzack doesn't confess then he would. Pantherlily

Pantherlily is an Exceed that works for the kingdom of Edoras as the Magic Militia's First Division Commander of the Royal Army. He seems to have a grumpy disposition and detests noisy people. He first appears by demanding that Byro and the hyperactive Hughes quiet down. (Although Sugarboy noted that Pantherlily was in a nastier mood than usual). Pantherlily has shown the ability that all Exceed have, Aera. He wields a huge sword and shows massive strengTogether with Akaoni and Majorina, are the three commanders of Bad End Kingdom. Acnologia

Acnologia, also known as The Black Dragon of the Apocalypse, is an extremely powerful dragon that flies around the continent or world. It once faced Fairy Tail's strongest Mage, Gildarts, in battle, and was said to have instantly defeated him, tearing out several organs in the process. Acnologia's power is such that even the most evil and powerful Mage in the world, Zeref, fears him. Acnologia seems to have a deep connection with the Black Mage Zeref, as Zeref seems to know it very well, and was able to sense its arrival quite a while before it actually arrived. Levy McGarden

Age: 17 Height: 155 cm Magic: Solid Script Mage Hair Color: Blue Eye Color: Brown Blood Type: A Levy is a member of the Fairy Tail Guild's team Shadow Gear, along with Jet and Droy. She has a cheerful personality, being able to get along with many other guild members. Levy loves to read books, she and Lucy Heartfilia quickly became friends through their mutual love for books. Levy read the novel that Lucy is working on and is the only person who has done so by consent. Levy's magic is called Solid Script Magic. Solid Script Magic allows her to write words which then turn solid and are then thrown at her opponent. Happy

Happy is a cat with some magical power, which may be the reason for his ability to speak. He can temporarily grow wings on his back and fly, and is capable of carrying only one person in this form. Happy apparently can fly at incredible speed as it took Eligor less than an hour to reach Clover when Happy caught up with him in mere seconds with Natsu in tow). This is also the only kind of transportation that does not make Natsu sick. When asked why, Natsu got angry and exclaimed that Happy was a friend, not a means of transportation, ironically Natsu later gets sick when Gray gives him a piggyback ride when he's injured. He's very close to Natsu and becomes friends with Lucy quickly. The three form a team at the start of the manga. Happy is a full-fledged member of Fairy Tail, and has a member stamp on his back. It's also unknown if Happy even though being a mage and a member of Fairy Tail, can use his magic offensively or not. Happy has a very cheerful nature. Even when facing danger, he maintains a smile. Along with Lucy, he is one of the saner members of Fairy Tail and often acts as the mediator between Natsu and Gray. Happy's original name was going to be named Freyr, after a Norse god. But Hiro Mashima felt it didn't fit him, so he changed the name to Happy to fit the character.

Loki

Loki is a member of the Fairy Tail guild. He is very flirtatious with attractive women, being top ranked "Mage you want to have as your boyfriend". He attempts to flirt with Lucy but after finding out that she's a Stellar Spirit mage, he quickly stops his advances. Mirajane said that something must have happened to him with a similar female Stellar Spirit mage. She also mentioned that Loke once tried to flirt with Erza, but nearly got himself killed because of it. His weapon is a magical ring and is skilled in "hand-to-hand" combat. Gray Fullbuster

Age: 18 Hair color: black Eye color: dark blue Occupation: Mage Affiliation: Fairy Tail Guild Team: Team Natsu Magic: Ice-Make, Ice Magic Gray Fullbuster is a member of the Fairy Tail guild. He is an 18-year-old ice mage, practicing ice alchemy, the art of molding ice. Due to his training history, he is most comfortable in little clothing and often forgets to wear clothes or quickly takes it off, thus often being accused of being an exhibitionist. He and Natsu have a friendly rivalry, and can often be seen fighting one another. Lucy believes the nature of his magic is the reason that he and Natsu constantly bicker. His member stamp is on the right side of his chest. In certain panels, Gray's necklace looks quite similar to the Rave Stone which is a crucial part of another one of Mashima's stories, "Rave Master." Mashima has stated he doesn't remember the name. Angel

Angel is a mage who belongs to the Oración Seis guild, a Dark guild composed of highly powerful mages, as well as the only female within the group. She along with the others' goal is to find the power know as Nirvana, a very destructive power that was sealed away long ago. She a highly accomplished Celestial Spirit Mage however no better than Karen Lilica as she treats her spirit just as cruelly as the former Blue Pegasus member. Incidentally she was also the murderer of Karen herself. She has the ability to summon two celestial spirits at the same time. Gemini: Her formerly most used Celestial Spirit who is able to copy peoples' looks, memories and powers at will. Their names are Gemi and Mini. Scorpio: A man with a large, gun-like scorpion tail who refers to himself in the plural first person. He is Aquarius' boyfriend. Mavis Vermillion

The First Master and the founder of the Fairy Tail Guild. She is also referred to as the mother of Fairy Tail. In year X686, Mavis, along with Precht, Warrod Sequen and Yury Dreyar, founded the Fairy Tail guild, with Mavis being the guild master. As they finally finished the guild building, all four took a photo with the building in background as a sign that Fairy Tail was born. She later entrusted the guild to Precht to serve as its second master. In gratitude, members of Fairy Tail made her a grave on the holy island of the guild - Tenrou Island. Mavis was given with an epithet as the Fairy Tactician, since she led her team in many victories thanks to her exceptional skills in making strategies during battles.

Mirajane Strauss

Hair Color: White Eye Color: Blue Occupation: S-Class Mage, Fairy Tail Head Waitress Mirajane is the cover girl or drawing point of Fairy Tail. She is 19 years old, an S-class mage, model to Sorcerer Magazine, and the older sister of Elfman and Lisanna. When Mirajane was an S-class mage, she was known as "The Demon." However, due to a past incident involving the death of her younger sister, Lisanna, Mirajane somehow lost much of her magical ability and her will to fight. Given the recent event of Elfman regaining his lost abilities and Mirajane's increased confidence, Mirajane may someday regain her abilities and move forward with her life. Mirajane plays a motherly role within the guild, and is often seen running the bar at the guild hall. She has rarely been shown to be in a bad mood, and can tolerate all of the guild's eccentricities. However, there have been a couple incidents that have disturbed Mirajane, including her discovery of the stealing of an S-Class job by Natsu, Happy and Lucy, and her later disappointment with Laxus following the destruction of the guild building. When she was younger, she was also very bold, brash, and temperamental, more specifically to her comrade Erza. She was described as infamous amongst guilds and criminals alike. However, this changed after her younger sisters death. Mirajane got her name from an online video game Hiro Mashima was playing while he created her.

Jenny Realight

Age: 25 Magic: Take Over [Machina Soul] Likes: Shopping Dislikes: Black Coffee Jenny Realight is a Mage of Blue Pegasus, and also the current "Miss Fiore". Jenny seems to be a popular and elegant young lady, as she won Miss Fiore. She is pale-skinned, and has a top model physical, being thin, and having large busts. Her hair is long, tied and decorated with flower. As a model, she's usually seen with makeup, having eyeliner around the eyes, blush in the cheeks and detached lipstick. Her jewelry consists of dangle earrings, a tiled necklace and bracelets. She wears a sparkly strapless dress, highlighting her bust. Her guild mark is on her left shoulder.

Igneel

Fire Dragon and foster father of Natsu Dragneel Igneel has been shown to be a loving parental figure towards Natsu, though leaving him to fend for himself leads one to doubt this. Despite leaving him, Igneel is shown to be incredibly protective of Natsu as he watches him from afar. Contrary to his loving self, Igneel can also be very fierce when he wants to be. He has also shown some arrogance, referring to himself as "the one and only Igneel" during Grandeeney's visit. According to Grandeeney, like Natsu, Igneel has a tendency to take things to excess. He taught Natsu how to write, speak, and how to use the fire-brand style of Magic known as "Dragon Slayer Magic ", an ancient form of Magic that gives the user the traits of a dragon.For some still unknown reason, Igneel disappeared one day without saying a word to Natsu on the 7th July of X777 (along with the other dragons like Grandeeney and Metalicana, Wendy Marvell's and Gajeel Redfox's foster dragon parents, respectively), leaving Natsu to fend for himself. Natsu's dream is to be able to meet with Igneel again and he searches for clues of his whereabouts.

Gildarts Clive

Gildarts Clive is one of the Fairy Tail Guild's S-Class mages. Gildarts is widely accepted by all the members as the strongest member in the guild under Makarov. Whether or not he is as powerful as Makarov is widely debated. He is frequently absent in the guild due to the nature of the requests he receives. He is widely referred by members of the Fairy Tail Guilds as "that geezer". His back shows a man with spikey hair, wearing a tattered cloak. His infamy as a mage was also commented upon by the Guild Master of Phantom Lord, Jose Porla: "... Erza and Laxus, Mystogan and Gildarts... Their names spread as far as my own hometown..." Gildarts went out of the guild 3 years ago to carry out his job, and recently has returned to the guild. He is rumoured to have taken both a 10-year-job as well as a 100-year-job, which is classified above the SS rank jobs as the difficulty is ranked on how long it would take for completion. His long-term periodic absences may be the reason for Makarov's decision for dropping Gildarts out of equation as his successor, and why no attempt of communication was made during the Phantom-Fairy Tail War. He also seems to be an incredibly popular and important mage throughout the town as well, as his impending arrival is subject to a large bell being rung in a "special manner" to notify people of his coming. Also the Fairy Tail mages seem to burst into celebration as a reaction to his arrival, indicating that unlike Mystogan who is virtually unknown and Laxus who was generally disliked due to his attitude, he is extremely well liked by the town and everyone at Fairy Tail.

Meredy

Meredy is a member of Grimoire Heart and one of the members of the Seven Kin of the Purgatory. She first joins it after Ultear, Zancrow and Kain find her in a destroyed city crying. Ultear takes her in because she senses that she has great magical potential and thinks she resembles herself. From that day she has considered Ultear her mother. Meredy seems to have two distinct personalities. The first one, is her stoic, mature, calm, emotionless and seemingly lifeless manner. The other is her childish side which she displays once she arrives on Tenrou Island. Elfman Strauss

Elfman is an 18 year-old mage. He is one of the physically stronger Fairy Tail mages, exhibiting the ability called "Take Over," which allows him to absorb the power of monsters he defeated into his right arm, earning him the nickname "Beast Arm Elfman." His member stamp is on his neck. His skill is among the top level in Fairy Tail; however, due to past events, he is no longer able to use Take Over to transform his entire body. It is revealed that in the past, an error occurred with his full-body transformation, leading him to lose control over his actions. Lisana, his younger sister and former member of Fairy Tail, sacrificed her life to break his concentration and help Elfman regain sanity. As a result, his most recent attempts at full-body Take Over induces a flashback of his sister, breaking his concentration and causing the spell to fade. This event has also caused Elfman's heart to lock shut. It seems both he and his sister Mirajane were badly hurt in the past due to their younger sister, Lisana, dying. It's said that Elfman's heart is locked shut because of what happened to Lisana.
