Several millennia later, Taiju awakens to find the modern world completely nonexistent, as nature has flourished in the years humanity stood still. Among a stone world of statues, Taiju encounters one other living human: his science-loving friend Senkuu, who has been active for a few months. Taiju learns that Senkuu has developed a grand scheme—to launch the complete revival of civilization with science. Taiju's brawn and Senkuu's brains combine to forge a formidable partnership, and they soon uncover a method to revive those petrified.

Because of his charisma and caring nature, people tend to gather around him, both allies and supporters alike. Kohaku
A young girl and a descendant of the modern humans. She is very fast and agile, and also her strength and endurance are remarkable, being able to carry a heavy pot filled with hot water on a daily basis. Because of that, she is called "Gorilla" by Chrome.

Taiju Ooki
Taiju is a friend of Senku and has a crush on Yuzuriha. Taiju has a strong and sturdy body and helps Senku with hunting and carrying heavy items. He is very enthusiastic even about little tasks and is seen screaming a lot. Taiju doesn't like to fight, so he only blocks his opponent's attacks. Just before the world turned to stone he was about to confess his feelings to Yuzuriha after 5 years because he couldn't get himself to do so before. As he was turned to stone, he survived on his determination to never give up since he failed to tell her how he feels.

Ginrou
Ginrou is Kinrou's brother, and one of the village guards. He starts hanging around Senku during his stay in the village and gets roped into the plan to make Ruri antibiotics.

Kaseki
Age: 60 (at introduction) 62 (currently) Birthday: 5679 AD Kaseki is an elderly craftsman from the Ishigami Village and one of the most important members of the Kingdom of Science, responsible for creating many of their scientific inventions. Appearance: Kaseki is a bald and short old man with a large white beard. Despite initially seeming frail and weak, once excited, Kaseki tears his clothes off, revealing a muscular body.

Kinrou is the elder brother of Ginrou and the son of Tetsuken and Shirogane. Serving as one half of the village guard, he technically allies himself with Senku and company once Ginrou gets more involved in their schemes.

Suika
Suika is a young girl who lives in the village with the other stone age humans. Her most notable feature is the large watermelon on her head, which she can climb inside to disguise herself as the fruit. Senku first meets Suika when he, Chrome, and Kohaku were searching for iron sand in a nearby river. Suika is eager to help Senku build his kingdom of science because she's never been useful to anyone before. She comes to work as an information gatherer for the kingdom of science, occasionally being referred to as "Ace Detective Suika."
